“Thank you for organising our trip, we had a great time and the pace of the trip was about right. There was a lot to see but the real highlights were the Serrania de Hornacal with the rock formations and colours and also the journey across the altiplano from Tarija to Tupiza. Brazil
“We had a really good holiday and the places were all fascinating. Congratulations on your reservations and bookings. The organisation, transfers and meeting at all of the airports was perfect and we went at the right time, after carnival. We were frequently told that we were lucky there were so few people around as previously it had been very busy.
People spoke about being careful, but clearly if you do not display expensive jewellery or watches, you are just as safe as any other major city or tourist place.

Cuba
“We had a fabulous holiday and feel as if we immersed ourselves in Cuba. There were all sorts of highlights, from snorkelling in the Bay of Pigs, to hiking to Fidel's hideaway in the Sierra Maestra, to spending a morning visiting Hemingway's haunts by 1950s open-topped American car. We would like to make special mention of your Cuban partners who organised our accommodation, transport and social agenda and most notably, their driver/guide, who was exceptional. He looked after us for 13 nights with immaculate driving - no mean feat on the roads and with the fuel shortage - humour, warmth and consideration. He introduced us to local customs, food and experiences beyond our expectations, and gave us confidence in an unfamiliar environment. All the other guides we met along the way were also well-informed, friendly and helped to make our Cuban adventure very special.” - JF&PW travelled in February 2024
Chile
“We had a very successful trip. The itinerary worked out well and we felt we got a good sense of Chile as a whole without too many flights. Brazil
“Brazil has been a mind-blowing experience. A huge thank you for everything, the guides, hotels and drivers have all been fantastic, and the organisation superb.
Highlights for me and the family were:
The Brazilian people, so lovely, helpful and charming.
Rio, touring around with our guide and walking along Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. He was incredible and we had so much fun with him.
Paraty, the amazing hotel, rock sliding, swimming and snorkelling. Lovely guides here too.
Manaus, great tour with our local guide, a very interesting person.
The Amazon, just everything (caiman, sloths, amazing birds, monkeys, spiders, frogs, piranhas, trees, flowers, etc. etc. etc). The guides and all staff at the lodge were extremely interesting, helpful, kind and fun to be with.
Caipirinhas!

Argentina
“Highly successful trip to Iberá and Salta. All transfers went perfectly. The Rincon del Socorro was excellent - comfortable and welcoming. Salta exceeded our expectations. Again airport pickup perfect. The Finca Valentina was really superb. Tremendously welcoming with superb cooking and lovely gardens. Enjoyed the recently flooded salt flats especially. The drive to the coloured mountains was amazing though the altitude was a little challenging for we oldies. All in all a great trip!” - CP travelled in March 2024
Costa Rica
“Overall the itinerary was great and we felt the number of night stays in each location was about right. Our local representative was absolutely great, a very good communicator and was really ‘on it’ in terms of keeping us up to date on everything. The Costa Rican people are all delightful and generally extremely welcoming and the level of spoken English was exceptional. The internal flights were good and obviously got us around quickly but we really did enjoy having the freedom to explore in our rental car. A great holiday, thank you very much for all your help and advice, and we feel that overall we did get to really explore the country which is, of course, helped by having a car to go off and do your own thing. Driving in Costa Rica was easy once you’d become accustomed to the local traits.” - SJ travelled in February 2024
Colombia
“At the outset we wanted a trip which would include the best of Colombia and also to see some of the famous birdlife. Overall the trip was excellent and the guides and your local agents were very good. Our one day in Bogotá was perfect, Hacienda Venecia in the coffee region was an excellent choice and the highlight of the birding side of the trip was Rio Blanco Cloud Forest and the wonderful hummingbirds. Jardin was a smashing little town and the visit to see the Cock of the Rock was something else - we saw around 20! We very much enjoyed Medellin but were disappointed by Tayrona. Cartegena was very hot but I think we covered every single street in the old town, ate in some excellent restaurants and enjoyed the plunge pool at our hotel, Alfiz.” - PC travelled in November 2023
Costa Rica
“We had a great trip and saw a lot of interesting wildlife and enjoyed some unusual experiences. We only scratched the surface of Costa Rica. All the places we stayed were great, especially Amor Arenal and Arenas del Mar. These two places were spectacular and we wish we had more time to spend on the properties.” - JO travelled in January 2024
Guyana
“Wow, what a holiday! Guyana is a truly beautiful country and my family were absolutely amazed by it. The boat trip down the Essequibo River was fantastic, Iwokrama River Lodge was an unexpected wonder, and the hospitality & welcome was superb as was the enthusiasm by the team there.
Onward to Atta Rainforest Lodge. A candle lit dinner in the open in the middle of the rainforest will not be soon forgotten. Once again, the entire team & guides were wonderful with us all.
Finally Kaieteur Falls.. mind-blowingly amazing! Firstly the flight over the miles & miles of 'broccoli', then the first sight of the Falls as we circled it brought gasps from everyone. Why don't more people know of Kaieteur? It is truly powerful and a real wonder.

Cuba
“We had a wonderful holiday, thank you! Huge thanks to you and the team in the UK and also the team in Cuba. All the accommodation was great and most of the restaurants and bars suggested were also spot on. Our driver was absolutely brilliant - he was a careful and safe driver with excellent English and very knowledgable about his country. We also enjoyed all of the walking tours and the boat trip in Trinidad was one of the highlights of our whole holiday. All in all then a fabulous holiday, although very sobering to experience the changes for Cubans since we were last there in 2016.” - DC travelled in March 2023
Falkland Islands
“The Falkland Islands were amazing, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially because it was end of the season and many of the places I visited I had to myself. There were islands where I spent the night 11km away from the next person, only with a radio to communicate in emergencies. It was a good itinerary for the week we initially planned – sad that some of the islands had to close due to the bird flu and hopefully it will be ok next season. I definitely recommend the Falklands as a destination, it was probably one of the highlights of my trip.
